Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No — nothing is ever uploaded. Every frame is loaded and encoded entirely inside this browser tab, on your device. There's no server involved at all, so we never see them, copy them or keep them.
What order do the frames play in?
The same order you added the images in. Remove and re-add a file if you need to reorder it — the file list is numbered so you can check the sequence before creating the GIF.
Why are my images cropped in the result?
Every frame is cropped to match the aspect ratio of your first image, so the GIF plays back cleanly without stretching or warping. For best results, use images that are all roughly the same shape.
Is there a size or frame limit?
There's no hard limit, but very large images or a lot of frames will take longer to encode and produce a bigger file. Frames are automatically capped at 640px wide to keep GIFs a sensible size.
Why does the first click take a moment?
The GIF-encoding engine loads the first time you click “Create GIF” in a session. After that, creating another GIF is faster.
Do you keep a copy of what I make?
No. There's no upload, so there's nothing on our side to keep. See the Privacy Policy for details.
