What image formats can I convert to PDF?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, and BMP files are all supported. Mix and match formats freely — they'll all end up as pages in the same PDF.
Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many images as you like and they'll become pages in a single PDF, in the order you added them.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No — nothing is ever uploaded. Every image is read and turned into a PDF page entirely inside this browser tab. There's no server involved at all, so there's nothing for Altto to see, copy or keep.
Will converting change my image quality?
Each image is re-encoded at high quality to build the PDF page, so the result looks the same to the eye. If you need pixel-perfect, lossless output for a very high-resolution image, keep the original file as well. Transparent areas in a PNG or GIF are filled with white, since a PDF page has no transparency of its own.
Can I reorder the images before converting?
Images become pages in the order you add them. To change the order, remove the ones that are out of place and add them again in the order you want.
Do you keep a copy of my images?
