What case styles does this cover?
Eleven in total — the everyday styles (UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, aLtErNaTiNg CaSe, and Inverse Case) plus the programmer styles (camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, CONSTANT_CASE and kebab-case) in the same tool, rather than splitting them across separate pages.
What's the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word (“The Quick Brown Fox”), the style used for headings and titles. Sentence case only capitalises the first letter of each sentence, the way normal prose is written (“The quick brown fox.”).
How does it handle converting to camelCase, snake_case or kebab-case?
It splits your text into individual words first — on spaces, hyphens and underscores, and at the boundary between a lowercase and an uppercase letter — so pasting in “some-value”, “someValue” or plain “some value” all convert the same way, whichever style you started from.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No — every conversion happens entirely inside this browser tab, on your device. There's no server involved at all, so nothing you type is ever seen, copied or kept by Altto.
